About the Role

YOUR ROLE

 

Reporting to the Business Transformation Manager, the Business Intelligence & Transformation Analyst is the execution engine behind SSL NEUR's data-driven transformation.

 

You will guarantee reliable data preparation, structured reporting, and disciplined performance tracking — turning raw data into the decisions that steer the region.

 

Sitting at the intersection of Trade, Commercial and Operations, you will be the consistency layer between insight and action, with direct exposure to senior stakeholders and a real path to permanent conversion within CMA CGM.

 

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?

 

  • Extract, consolidate and validate data from multiple sources (internal systems, Excel, BI tools); ensure accuracy and timeliness.

 

  • Prepare and update weekly and monthly reporting dashboards; maintain structured reporting files and databases.

 

  • Monitor KPIs across volume, revenue, bookings, budget vs forecast vs actual, and cargo flow; flag deviations and inconsistencies.

 

  • Support consolidation of cost data (inland, port/terminal, services); maintain cost tracking files and variance analysis.

 

  • Run the weekly performance cycle on the VIE side: produce the data pack (Step 1) and track decided actions with owners, deadlines, status (Step 4).

 

  • Track progress of transformation initiatives; coordinate updates across Trade, Commercial and Operations stakeholders.

 

  • Monitor data quality in quotation, booking and reporting flows; support standardisation of formats, tools and documentation.

 

  • Support ad-hoc analyses and presentations for management (trade, customer, performance deep-dives).

 

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

Must-have

  • Master's degree (Bac +5) in Business, Engineering, Data, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • In accordance with the provisions of Article L122-1 of the National Service Code, only candidates aged 18 to 28 and European nationals are eligible for this mission offered as a VIE.
  • Advanced Excel; strong analytical and structured mindset; reliable under tight reporting deadlines.
  • Fluent English; clear written communication able to structure information for senior stakeholders.

 

Preferred

  • Power BI strong plus; SQL or other BI tools welcome.
  • German, French, or any Nordic language.
  • Exposure to performance management, transformation projects, or commercial/operations data.
