About NATS Apprenticeship Program:

 

National Apprenticeship Training Scheme, is a program where Volvo India engages freshly graduated individuals for year-long apprenticeships, providing them with practical training and skills development opportunities within the company’s various functions under Financial Services. it's a way for Volvo to train future workforce members through a structured apprenticeship program.

 

Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical / Production / Metallurgy / Material Science) 

 

Experience: Fresher 

 

Reporting To: Supplier Quality-Lead 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

  • Day to Day monitoring & recording of the Quality issues & generating Quality alert. 
  • Quality Notification generation & working with Line QC to record the Quality Issues 
  • Sharing Weekly & Monthly Quality data to Manager 
  • Conducting Joint Quality review meetings with stakeholders. 
  • Addressing the Quality issues of supplier parts in production line 
  • Support in Judging the root cause of assembly issues in supplier parts & stock verification 
  • Follow up with supplier for correction, corrective action & preventive actions 
  • Follow up for getting RCA & 8D from suppliers 
  • Constant interaction with suppliers on improving the quality of parts delivered 
  • Reviewing the 8D, RCA reports from suppliers along with Concern QC, SQ lead & judging the effectiveness 
  • PPAP Parts inspection, ECN parts inspection at supplier end & Inhouse 
  • Verification of supplier reports & checking the part report against drawing requirements. 

 

Job Requirements: 

 

  • Good communication, Interpersonal & Teamwork skills 
  • Power-bi software Hands on experience & knowledge is preferred 
  • Should be a quick learner, good team player & self-motivated 
  • Basics on usage of Measuring tools & equipment 
  • Good engineering drawing reading skills 
  • Knowledge on fabrication, Painting & other manufacturing processes is preferred 
  • Basic know-how on usage of SAP, MS Excel & MS PowerPoint 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
