About the Role

Since 1950s, Thermowatt has become one of the leading manufacturer brands offering heating elements and thermostats for electric water heating, household appliances, and both professional and industrial applications.

You will report directly to the Product Development Manager and contribute to the design and development of new components and assemblies. You will support the team throughout the product development lifecycle and gradually build your technical and design skills within a structured and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the design of components (e.g., plastic and metal parts) and assemblies.
  • Use parametric design software (e.g., SolidWorks) to create 2D and 3D models.
  • Assist in the management of Bills of Materials, including reading, updating, and maintaining documentation.
  • Develop a basic understanding of common industrial manufacturing processes to ensure design feasibility.
  • Collaborate with internal project stakeholders (e.g., project leaders, laboratory teams, product managers).
  • Support interactions with suppliers under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Contribute to small development tasks and technical analyses as part of the wider R&D team.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical design principles and industrial materials.
  • Familiarity with technical drawing and design tools (e.g., SolidWorks, CAD software).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work on multiple tasks with supervision.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Curiosity, willingness to learn, and a proactive minds.
