As a result of this growth, we are looking for a Junior Financial Reporting & Consolidation Specialist, to join our Finance team based in Milan.

The role

The Junior Financial Reporting & Consolidation Specialist Intern will play a pivotal role in supporting the financial integrity and operational efficiency of our global automotive technology solutions, covering a wide range of finance and reporting tasks:

  • Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS and other applicable standards
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
  • Participate in the reconciliation of intercompany transactions and balances across multiple entities
  • Contribute to the improvement of financial reporting systems, databases, and software to enhance reporting efficiency
  • Assist with financial audits by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentation

Our ideal Junior Financial Reporting & Consolidation Specialist Intern will have:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or on the way to obtaining one)
  • Good understanding of financial reporting, consolidation processes, and IFRS standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial reporting software
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Previous experience in a Big4 audit company is considered a plus

Work pattern and location

  • 40 hours a week, internship agreement
  • Monday to Friday
  • Hybrid working pattern
  • Office based in Milan
