Job Description:

The purpose of the IT Business Analyst role as it relates to supporting the WinTel Server Team, with a particular focus on the Patching Centre of Excellence (PCoE) Team. The primary purpose of this position is to provide robust support in Server Operating System (OS) Patching and Vulnerability Management (VM) duties, as well as to contribute to various projects within the team.

 

The individual in this role will report directly to the PCoE Director and working with other members of the Team, will take on the responsibility of preparing and managing essential business documents, such as meeting minutes and agendas. Additionally, a key part of their duties will involve communicating effectively with multiple teams to help facilitate and advance the goals of the PCoE.

 

From a strategic perspective, the IT Business Analyst is expected to gain a deep understanding of the PCoE’s objectives related to OS Patching and Vulnerability Management. They will be encouraged to contribute innovative solutions and ideas that help drive these objectives forward.

 

Leveraging AI to support the PCoE Team is also a significant part of this role. By integrating AI tools and capabilities, the individual can help the team discover new ways to enhance OS Patching and Vulnerability Management solutions.

Preferred skills:

  • Able to work for an 8 month term (2 x 4 month terms)

  • Very Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

  • Great oral & written communication Skills

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Able to working within our established processes and follow direction.

  • Attention to detail

  • Good knowledge of ServiceNow

  • Experience with AI

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

  • Good working knowledge of ServiceNow

  • Able to communicate with our Team's Clients

  • Good understanding of IT

  • This opportunity is available to students with a April 2027 or later graduation date

Responsibilities:

  • Able to create Meeting Agendas and Minutes

  • Attend Meetings and Huddles

  • Able to create reports using ServiceNow and MS Office Suite

  • Communicate with other the Teams we work with

  • Create requests with ServiceNow and follow up to completion

  • Identify and suggestion improvements our processes if possible

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted for. The Base Pay which you will be considered for will vary depending on the Campus program you are selected for.
