These position is for nursing students rotating at MSK as part of their clinical rotation. As part of their clinical experience, they will participate in the following under the supervision of their assigned preceptor.

  • Direct patient care activities, including assessments, treatments, and documentation.

  • Observe and assist with clinical procedures, maintaining strict adherence to hospital protocols and safety standards.

  • Attend and actively engage in available educational activities, case discussions, and/or departmental rounds.

  • Demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and ethical behavior in all interactions with patients, families, and the multi-disciplinary team.

  • Follow MSK's infection control, safety, and privacy guidelines at all times (e.g., HIPAA compliance, hand hygiene).

  • Receive feedback from preceptor to improve skills and knowledge during the rotation.
