Position Summary:

The Facilities Management Intern will work under the supervision of the Operations Manager to gain exposure to all aspects of facilities management at the UFC Performance Institute in Shanghai. The intern will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience that will complement their academic learning.

Responsibilities:

• Shadows Facilities Manager to gain exposure to daily operations, inspections, repairs, data collection and reporting of facility equipment.
• Cooperate with suppliers to complete planned maintenance and emergency repairs of facilities and equipment
• Assist in keeping accurate records related to maintenance activities.
• Cooperate with suppliers to complete project rectification work
• Assist in managing inventory levels throughout the Performance Institute needed for facility operations
• Support safety programs within the building through ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Other tasks, projects, and responsibilities as assigned.

Skills & Experience:

• Full-time students in college or university, engineering background is preferred
• Have a low-voltage electrician’s operating certificate (electrician’s certificate) or will be able to obtain such certification within 3 months after onboarding
• Ability to use CAD drawing software
• Proficient in using office software PPT, Excel, Word
• Good communication skills, with basic English reading and expression skills
• Strong hands-on ability and willing to learn new things
• Able to work on weekends and holidays, with time off available
