About the Role

Description

We are excited to welcome a Go-To-Market & Sales Operations Intern! This internship is anticipated to take place over 10–12 weeks during the months of June through August. 


This position is primarily responsible for assisting various members of the Mascoma Technologies team. This is a high-impact, hands-on role for someone interested in how early-stage startups find product-market fit and scale revenue. As a Go-To-Market & Sales Operations Intern, you will work directly with founders and revenue leaders to support pipeline generation, sales execution, and operational infrastructure. At a seed-stage company, this role is less about observing and more about building, testing, and iterating. You’ll help shape how we sell, who we target, and how we measure success.


Essential Functions of Position

Go-To-Market Execution 

o Identify and research target accounts across banks and credit unions 

o Build and refine ideal customer profiles and segmentation strategies 

o Support outbound campaigns and track performance 

o Help develop messaging and positioning 


Sales Operations & Infrastructure 

o Help maintain CRM systems 

o Ensure data accuracy across leads and pipeline 

o Support pipeline tracking and deal flow management 


Market & Product Insight 

o Conduct research on core banking systems and fintech vendors 

o Track industry trends 

o Synthesize customer feedback to inform GTM and product development 

Requirements

What You’ll Need

  • 2nd–3rd Year College Student with a focus in Finance / Business
  • Ability to use and working knowledge of computers/strong typing skills
  • Some knowledge with Microsoft Office products
  • Good interpersonal communication 
  • Strong verbal and communication skills
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and privacy
  • Professional appearance; grooming and dress consistent with MB appearance policy

Physical Demands/Working Conditions

  • Must be able to lift or transport up to 50 pounds
  • Varied work with a normal expenditure of energy and little or no unusual physical effort
  • May involve incidental business machine operations

  • Working conditions include well-lit and well-ventilated areas
