About the Role

Location: Amsterdam
Duration: Minimum 4 months
Department: Talent Acquisition & Communications

Are you a creative storyteller with a passion for people, brands, and content?
Do you enjoy diving into target groups, figuring out what makes them tick, and turning those insights into campaigns and content that attract the right talent?
Join us as our Employer Branding Content Intern and help us strengthen our position as an employer of choice.

About the internship

As an Employer Branding Content Intern, you will be part of both our Talent Acquisition and Communications teams. Together, we focus on what in Dutch is called arbeidsmarktcommunicatie: everything we do to tell our story as an employer and attract the right candidates.

You’ll work on projects that combine research, strategy and hands-on content creation; from mapping our target audience and their preferred channels to producing creative content in text, audio and video.
You will have plenty of room to bring in your own ideas, try out new formats and learn from experienced colleagues who are happy to coach and support you.

What you'll be doing

  • Research target groups
    • Map potential candidate groups and their behaviour: Who are they? Where do they spend their time online? What type of content appeals to them?
  • Build a communications plan
    • Help draft and refine a communications plan that strengthens our employer brand and increases our visibility in the labour market.
    • Think along on channels, messages, timing and content formats.
  • Create engaging content
    • Write articles and social media posts that bring our culture, people and jobs to life.
    • Help develop and produce podcasts and short videos.
    • Experiment with new ideas, formats and tools to reach and engage potential candidates.
  • Collaborate across teams
    • Work closely with Talent Acquisition and Internal Communications.
    • Join team meetings, brainstorms and reviews.

You’ll get clear guidance where needed, but also the freedom to work independently and take ownership of your projects.

What you bring

You don’t need to tick every box to apply – if you’re excited about the role, we’d love to hear from you.

  • You are an undergraduate or postgraduate student in a related field (e.g. Communications, Marketing, Media, HR or a similar direction).
  • You have a good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
  • You enjoy working with content & social media and are curious about employer branding and talent attraction.
  • Experience with tools like Canva, AI tools and MS Office is a plus. No experience yet but eager to learn? Don’t let this hold you back!
  • Words that describe you: creative, precise, curious and engaged.
  • You are available for an internship of at least four months.
  • You like working on-site, and ideally live within about 30 km of Amsterdam (or are willing to travel).

What you'll gain

During this internship you will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn from experienced Talent Acquisition and Internal Communications professionals who will coach you on:
    • target group research
    • building a communications plan
    • content creation (text, audio, video)
  • See how employer branding, recruitment and communications come together in practice.
  • Bring your own ideas to life and experiment with new formats and tools.
  • Grow both personally and professionally in a supportive, open and collaborative environment.
  • Internship allowance, laptop and equipment necessary to create and perform.

We are committed to building an inclusive team and welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, identities and experiences.
