About the Role

ACCOUNTABILITY:

Support APAC Site IT daily operations through structured back‑end IT support activities, including IT service operations data support, IT documentation, asset lifecycle administration, operational readiness preparation, and IT knowledge enablement.

The role contributes to stable and compliant site IT operations by improving process quality, documentation consistency, operational visibility, and knowledge sharing effectiveness under supervision, without direct end‑user‑facing responsibilities or independent decision‑making authority.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Assist in IT service operations support by reviewing ServiceNow tickets for completeness, accuracy, and process adherence, and flagging items requiring follow‑up.
  2. Support IT operations data preparation, including basic ticket trend summaries and recurring issue identification for internal reference.
  3. Assist in IT documentation and SOP development by organizing, formatting, and maintaining operational guides, checklists, and user reference materials.
  4. Support IT asset lifecycle administration activities, including asset record verification, loan device tracking, and monthly inventory audit preparation.
  5. Assist in preparation of IT audit and compliance supporting documents, ensuring records are organized and audit‑ready.
  6. Provide remote coordination and administrative support for site‑level IT activities and projects, including information collection, tracker updates, and task documentation.
  7. Support IT onboarding, training, and knowledge enablement activities by preparing and maintaining training materials, quick reference guides, and user documentation.
  8. Assist in creating and updating basic IT training videos or walkthrough recordings (e.g. onboarding steps, common IT processes, self‑service guidance) using standard tools, under guidance from Site IT.

 

REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:

Education & Professional Background:

  • Undergraduate student currently pursuing studies in Information Technology, Computer Science or related disciplines.
  • Able to commit at least 6 months of internship period. 
  • Basic understanding of IT operations or IT service management concepts.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Basic familiarity with video recording or screen‑capture tools is a plus (e.g. PowerPoint recording, Teams recording, simple editing tools).
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Ability to follow defined processes and work independently on structured tasks.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn enterprise IT operational and knowledge‑sharing practices.
