Job Description: 

The Role and Impact: Join Intel as a Platform Validation Engineering Intern and play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and performance of cutting-edge hardware platforms. This internship provides you with the opportunity to work on the forefront of technology, contributing to the validation and readiness of Intel's platforms and boards. As part of our collaborative environment, you will design and execute test plans, analyze results, and assist in debugging functional and performance issues. Through hands-on projects and exposure to real-world challenges, you will develop invaluable technical skills while contributing to Intel's mission to shape the future of technology. Key Responsibilities: - Design and execute detailed test plans to validate platforms and boards for functional and performance requirements. - Analyze test results to identify issues and assist in debugging hardware and software challenges. - Support validation tasks such as configuration testing, manufacturability analysis, benchmark execution, and validation of power and thermal characteristics. - Collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure platform readiness and quality. - Contribute to defect triaging and issue resolution, focusing on disciplined execution and continuous improvement. - Utilize data management techniques to debug and analyze validation failures. - Document findings and provide feedback to improve validation environments and processes.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's or BS degree in progress in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience aligned with business needs. - Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, C#, or Python. - Knowledge of hardware platform fundamentals and validation/debug processes. - Foundational understanding of data analysis techniques and tools for debugging. Preferred Qualifications: - Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills in technical environments. - Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work across teams. - Eagerness to learn and improve continuously in a fast-paced, innovative field.
