The Role

Internship Description:

  • To support the FT's global communications and Business to Customer (B2C) marketing programme in Asia Pacific
  • To assist with global communications, such as compiling media lists, drafting media pitches and internal newsletters, and media monitoring
  • Assist HK advertising sales team with sales pitches and research
  • To support internal and external corporate events, from drafting invites to assisting in event planning and execution
  • To perform analysis and research on competition in our main Asia markets, content theme development, client propsecting, audience needs, new ways of consumption and opportunities, etc
  • Assist in print and distribution logistics
  • To provide general admin support

Internship Requirements:

  • Internship Period: One month (from May 25, 2025 to June 26, 2026)
  • Non-Chinese speaking students are welcomed
  • Good computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Students in Year 2 or above will be preferred
  • Work location: Hong Kong

Work arrangement

We currently operate a hybrid model which requires staff to work onsite 50% of the time, subject to role requirements & regular review. While flexible working requests will be considered, not all patterns are suitable for all roles. We believe this balanced approach supports flexibility and protects our culture, making collaboration and communication easier, building stronger relationships and team cohesion, and supporting peer learning.  We reserve discretion on reasonable notice to change this approach either generally or for specific individuals or teams.
