About the Role
 

Summary

The b1 Foundation Intern will conduct the intake of small businesses into the database, evaluate business and economic development needs and design, coordinate, and implement educational programs that meet the needs of the small business community served by the b1 Foundation.

 

Specific Job Functions

  • Conduct the intake of small businesses into the database.
  • Maintain the b1 Foundation calendar of events. This includes coordinating student registrations, reserving facilities and instructional equipment, maintaining accurate records and preparing periodic reports to ensure all program requirements are met.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote b1 Foundation educational

programs and services.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of community programs.
  • Support fundraising initiatives and donor outreach activities.
  • Engage with local organizations and stakeholders to promote programs.
  • Analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of foundation initiatives.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for program improvements.

 

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in finance, business, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated interest in community development and social impact.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Willingness to take initiative and be proactive in project management.
