Join Thermo Fisher Scientific and contribute to solutions that support global scientific discovery. As a Software Engineering Intern, you will be part of developing applications that help our customers make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

You will work in a collaborative environment, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of software used in laboratory instruments, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems.

What will you do?

  • Support the design, development, and testing of software applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders
  • Contribute to maintaining and improving existing systems
  • Participate in agile development activities such as sprint planning and reviews
  • Document technical solutions and processes.

What will you need?

  • Ongoing Bachelor’s studies in System Development, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript
  • Familiarity with web technologies (HTML5, CSS, modern JavaScript frameworks)
  • Understanding of object-oriented design and basic software development principles
  • Interest in agile ways of working
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Motivation to learn and develop your skills
