We are looking for an Investment Management Intern to join our IM team within the Wealth Management arm of the Bank for Entrepreneurs (part of Private Bank) in Italy.

Deutsche Bank Wealth Management is one of the world’s leading wealth managers and a trusted partner to individuals, entrepreneurs, family offices and foundations.

The intern will be based in Milan gaining exposure to both existing WM clients and entrepreneurial prospects, while collaborating closely with Relationship Managers and senior Investment Managers.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to develop a solid understanding of financial markets, investment solutions and client advisory within a highly international and client-oriented environment.

Learning Objectives

  • Assist in the preparation of investment proposals for existing and prospective clients.
  • Support cross-asset portfolio reviews and performance analysis.
  • Contribute to the implementation of tailored investment solutions.
  • Support client coverage activities together with Relationship Managers in the region.
  • Prepare presentations, reports and materials for client meetings.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g. Middle Office, Compliance, Operations) to ensure efficient execution.

Requirements

  • Strong academic background in Finance, Economics or related fields.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Italian.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Proactive mindset, teamwork attitude and willingness to learn.

Start Date: May/June 2026, 4 months internship.

Monthly expense allowance and meal vouchers are provided.
