We specialize in providing primary casualty products as well as umbrella and capacity excess products that meet the needs of the commercial market. Our policy holders range from small businesses to complex multi-national corporations and Fortune 1000 accounts.
The Underwriting & Administrative Intern will support the underwriting team by assisting with risk evaluation, data analysis, documentation, and day‑to‑day operational tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Underwriting Support — Assist underwriters in gathering, reviewing, and organizing submission materials, including applications, loss runs, financials, and supplemental forms.
Risk Research — Conduct background research on insureds, industries, and risk factors to support underwriting decisions.
Data Entry & Accuracy — Input and maintain accurate data in underwriting systems, rating tools, and internal databases.
Administrative Coordination — Support scheduling, file management, document preparation, and internal communication workflows.
Policy Documentation — Assist with preparing binders, endorsements, quote letters, and renewal documentation.
Quality Control — Help review files for completeness, compliance, and adherence to underwriting guidelines.
Cross‑Team Collaboration — Work with underwriting, claims, and operations teams to support ongoing projects and process improvements.
