About the Role

Position:

Founded in 2014 by Jerome Jacques Marie Mage, Jacques Marie Mage is a Los Angeles-based producer of limited-edition designer goods specializing in the micro-production of luxury eyewear for a clientele of discerning tastes.

 

With each new collection, JMM embraces a unique palette of precious materials, rich colors, and striking geometric forms, which cleverly reference and beautifully reconfigure the striking individuals, artistic movements, and world events of previous centuries. All JMM eyewear is ethically sourced and produced with the utmost respect for industry partners' environment and wellbeing.

 

Role Overview:

As a Product Development Intern you will be responsible to organize, catalogue, and archive samples to ensure Designers and Developers are able to access samples easily. You will report directly to the Head of Product Development and receive direction from both The Head of Product Development and the Product Development Manager. This will be a 6 week internship with possibility to extend based on business needs.

 

 

Your responsibilities are – but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and maintain all product samples, ensuring they are properly labeled, stored, and easily retrievable
  • Manage sample inventory, tracking movement between teams and external partners
  • Archive samples, materials, and references maintaining a well-structured and up to date library.
  • Assist in developing and improving organizational systems for samples and material records for the product development team
  • Assist in sending and receiving packages for product development team

Key Requirements:

  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in PLM systems, Google Workspace, Excel, or similar data management tools
  • Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator, product development processes, product life cycle  is a plus!
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Interest in product development, fashion, or design
