Summer Student – Yard & Production Helper

Atlantic Industries Limited is looking for a motivated and hardworking Summer Student to join our Deer Lake team. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, working outdoors, and being part of a manufacturing and yard environment.

Reporting to the site supervisor, the successful candidate will assist with a variety of shop and yard duties including grinding, bundling and strapping materials, general labour support, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with grinding and finishing work
• Bundle and strap materials for shipment and storage
• Support yard and shop operations as needed
• Assist with loading, unloading, and material handling
• Maintain clean and organized work areas inside and outside the facility
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Provide general labour support to the production team

• Mechanical aptitude or experience using hand tools is considered an asset
• Previous labour, construction, or manufacturing experience is an asset
