Accounting Internship

• Assist with processing vendor invoices, including data entry and basic review for accuracy
• Help with vendor statement reconciliations and follow up on discrepancies
• Maintain organized AP records and documentation, including filing and record retention
• Monitor invoice and payment status reports and assist with tracking outstanding items
• Provide support with weekly payment runs (ACH, checks)
• Respond to basic vendor and internal inquires regarding invoices and payment status
• Assist with month-end close activities
• Help maintain and update vendor records in the system
• Support process improvement initiatives and general AP team projects
• Perform miscellaneous Accounts Payable and accounting duties as assigned

• Applicants should be enrolled in a four  year Accounting degree program
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
• Great attention to detail; multi-tasking and
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize
