The Delaware Entrepreneurial Center at Ohio Wesleyan's mission is to create a collaborative, innovative, and imaginative space that facilitates value creation and professional development. The Delaware Entrepreneurial Center at OWU is housed at 70 S. Sandusky St. and includes rentable office spaces, a shared work area for center members, a conference center with digital meeting capabilities, and educational programming to support entrepreneurial understanding and success. About the Role

    Student Worker – Education 

    Number of Openings: 3

    Purpose/Objective of the Role:

    The Education Department is seeking a reliable, friendly, and organized student worker to assist the Education Department. 

    This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain professional experience in a dynamic      academic environment.


    Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Greet any students/faculty/staff who enter the Education Department
  • Work on projects with the Education Dept.
  • Assist with event planning and coordination, including preparing materials and setting up rooms.
  • Run errands and jobs as assigned
  • Support departmental projects and perform other administrative tasks as assigned. 

    Qualifications:

  • Must be a current student, preferably enrolled in the Education program.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable learning new software.
  • Experience with Canva created a Plus
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Previous office or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
