This position is an 8- or 12-week paid internship based at the Ellisville, Missouri site (about 20 minutes west of St. Louis). In this role, you’ll build a strong foundation in finance by supporting budgeting, reporting, and process improvement work that helps the site operate efficiently. What You’ll Do:
• Lead the planning and creation of budget templates and processes for all divisional budgets, including organizing standard reviews to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Assist the Distribution Center (DC) with inventory control and cycle counting activities, working closely with the DC Finance Leader to manage daily and weekly routines. This support is essential for maintaining the Bussmann Physical Inventory exemption and ensuring inventory records are accurately reflected in the system.
• Analyze accounts payable (AP) transactions that do not have purchase orders (non-PO) for the site, determine appropriate next steps—such as purchase order setup, P-card usage, or maintaining the current process—and collaborate with Supply Chain Management (SCM) to develop improved processes for non-PO transactions. You will also conduct trainings on these processes for site staff.

Qualifications:

Basic (Required) Qualifications:
• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field at an accredited institution 
• Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above (please don't round). 
• No relocation is offered for this role. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the Ellisville, MO site. 
• Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1,  E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior internship, co-op, or campus leadership experience in finance, accounting, supply chain, or operations.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 or above. 
• Experience with data analysis and reporting (e.g., PivotTables, charts, basic Power Query, or similar tools).
• Familiarity with ERP or finance systems (e.g., SAP) and/or accounts payable, budgeting, or inventory finance concepts.
• Strong communication skills and comfort partnering with cross-functional teams.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, sorting/filtering, and creating clear tables).
