Job purpose:

The Electronics Lab Internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in supporting the development, assembly, and validation of test benches for automotive power electronics systems. The intern will support engineering teams in laboratory activities related to electronic circuit boards, test bench assembly, and testing infrastructure used for verification of electrical and hybrid vehicle systems.


Responsibilities:

  • Support the assembly and preparation of test benches used for testing of automotive inverters and power electronics systems
  • Assist in procuring electronic components and materials according to technical documentation and specifications
  • Perform basic soldering and rework of electronic components under supervision
  • Support inspection and assembly of electronic circuit boards, including work with SMD components and microscope-assisted tasks
  • Help prepare and maintain technical documentation, including wiring diagrams and laboratory records
  • Assist in preparing purchase requests and maintaining component inventories
  • Support laboratory testing activities, including data collection and basic troubleshooting
  • Follow laboratory safety procedures, quality standards, and workplace organization requirements
  • Collaborate with international engineering teams and support ongoing development projects

Requirements:

  • Student of Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field, or graduate of an electrical/electronics technical secondary school
  • Basic knowledge of electronics and electronic components
  • Interest in laboratory work, automotive electronics, and eMobility technologies
  • Manual skills and willingness to work with small electronic/SMD components
  • Familiarity with MS Office tools and basic knowledge of CAD or electronic design software (e.g. Eagle) will be an advantage
  • Communicative level of English allowing work with technical documentation and international teams
  • Detail-oriented mindset, responsibility, and willingness to learn
  • Good teamwork and organizational skills

  • Gain hands-on experience in assembling and supporting test benches for automotive power electronics and inverter systems
  • Develop practical laboratory skills, including soldering, electronic circuit board assembly, inspection of SMD components, and basic troubleshooting
  • Learn how laboratory and testing processes are applied in the automotive industry, including technical documentation, validation activities, and quality standards
  • Support testing activities, data collection, and preparation of wiring diagrams and laboratory records
  • Build knowledge of automotive electronics, power electronics systems, and eMobility technologies used in modern vehicles
  • Gain experience using engineering and office tools such as MS Office and electronic design software (e.g. Eagle)
  • Work in an international team environment and use English in daily technical communication
  • Develop teamwork, attention to detail, and organizational skills while supporting real engineering projects

Recruitment process:

  • CV Review - Your application and CV will be reviewed to assess your qualifications and experience in relation to the role requirements.
  • Phone Interview (approximately 20 minutes) - This initial conversation is designed to discuss your background, expectations, and answer any preliminary questions.
  • Technical Interview (1h) - Conducted by the manager and an additional team member, this stage focuses on evaluating your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills. The interview can be held via Teams or at our office.
