Job purpose:
The Mechanical Engineering Internship is designed to provide students and graduates with practical engineering experience in the development of automotive components and eMobility systems. The intern will support the Mechanical Engineering team in design activities, technical documentation, testing, and product development processes while gaining exposure to international engineering standards and automotive quality requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Mechanical Engineering team in the design and development of automotive and eMobility components
- Create and update 3D CAD models and 2D technical drawings using engineering design software (e.g. Siemens NX, CATIA, SolidWorks)
- Assist in preparing and maintaining technical documentation, reports, and engineering presentations
- Participate in prototype testing, data collection, and basic engineering analysis
- Support tolerance analysis and verification of mechanical designs according to manufacturing and assembly requirements
- Assist in design reviews and inspections of mechanical parts and assemblies
- Help investigate component issues and support root cause analysis activities
- Follow engineering processes, automotive standards, and quality requirements (including IATF standards)
- Collaborate with international engineering teams on development projects
Requirements:
- Student in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Machine Design, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of technical drawings and mechanical design principles
- Familiarity with CAD software such as Siemens NX, CATIA, or SolidWorks
- Basic understanding of material science and strength of materials
- Communicative level of English (written and spoken)
- Interest in the automotive industry, powertrain technologies, and eMobility solutions
- Strong attention to detail, responsibility, and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn new engineering tools and development processes

- Gain hands-on experience in the design and development of automotive and eMobility components used in modern vehicle systems
- Learn how mechanical engineering processes are applied in an international automotive environment, including product development, prototype validation, and engineering documentation
- Develop practical skills in creating and updating 3D CAD models and 2D technical drawings using professional engineering software such as:
- Siemens NX
- CATIA
- SolidWorks - Gain exposure to automotive engineering standards and quality processes, including IATF requirements and engineering review procedures
- Participate in design reviews, technical problem-solving, and root cause analysis activities related to mechanical components and assemblies
- Expand your knowledge of material science, mechanical design principles, and product development methodologies used in the automotive sector
- Work in an international team environment and use English in daily technical communication with engineers and project stakeholders
- Build teamwork, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills while collaborating on real engineering projects

Recruitment process:
- CV Review - Your application and CV will be reviewed to assess your qualifications and experience in relation to the role requirements.
- Phone Interview (approximately 20 minutes) - This initial conversation is designed to discuss your background, expectations, and answer any preliminary questions.
- Technical Interview (1h) - Conducted by the manager and an additional team member, this stage focuses on evaluating your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills. The interview can be held via Teams or at our office.
