About The Company
Ferrari's story officially began in 1947 when its first road car, the 125 S, emerged from the gate of no. 4 Via Abetone Inferiore in Maranello. The iconic two-seater went on to win the Rome Grand Prix later that year and shortly thereafter was developed into a refined GT roadster. The company has travelled a long way since then, but its mission has remained unaltered: to make unique sports cars that represent the finest in Italian design and craftsmanship, both on the track and on the road. The very definition of excellence and sportiness, Ferrari needs no introduction. Its principal calling card is the numerous Formula One titles it has won: a total of 16 constructors’ championships and 15 drivers’ championships. And of course, there is the impressive lineup of legendary GT models. Cars that are unique for their design, technology and luxurious styling and that represent the best in Italian the world over.
About the Role

Ferrari has a most desirable track record, in F1 and Endurance Racing, for built-to-order Sports cars with Desing R&D, Production and commercial activities, as well as in LifeStyle and Fashion activities. And delivers record business results and confirmed one of the “World’s most powerful brands”.

Above all Ferrari is an international team (with 60+ nationalities) working with the highest level of professionalism and dedication, based on performance, meritocracy and continuous development, with innovation at the heart of our future.

We are looking for a dedicated intern in our R&D department inside the Vehicle Testing team. The internship aims to provide support to the Ordinary and Performance Press activities involving vehicles from the dedicated fleet, ensuring their smooth and effective execution.

The intern will contribute technical and operational support both during vehicle preparation phases and post-activity restoration, actively supporting first-level diagnostics of detected anomalies, as well as the planning and implementation of the necessary corrective actions.

The role involves hands-on participation, with a proactive and problem-solving approach, working in close collaboration with the involved teams to ensure continuity and successful execution of Press activities.

You will cooperate in different activities, including:

  • Taking part in testing and experimental activities on running vehicles, actively contributing to vehicle preparation, approval processes, first-level diagnostics of anomalies, and restoration management.
  • Supporting the analysis of technical issues, collaborate in the evaluation of potential modifications, and gain exposure to product support processes and technical assistance activities for the dealer network.
  • Contributing to the preparation and drafting of technical reports and test documentation.

Required profile

For this fundamental role, we are ideally looking for a recent Master graduate or current Master student (eligible for internship) or in your final year in Mechanical Engineering, preferably with a specialization in Automotive Engineering.

You will not only have a passion for automotive and innovative solutions, but also already gained first work-experience through internships or projects (in automotive or luxury sectors) that allow you to understand business complexities and help you to develop your personal and communicative skills.

In Ferrari you must exhibit the capability to think analytically, target-oriented and structured. You need to demonstrate strong communication skills (such as the ability to listen as well as in-depth reasoning). You will be expected to work independently as well as integrate as part of a team. We require attention to the detail and awareness of the responsibility that comes with your role. You are motivated to adapt to and learn from the company culture. It goes without saying that you relish a challenge.

The effective completion of your daily tasks requires you to be a proficient user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).

Fluent English is required.

Knowledge of the main data analysis and processing tools (Office Suite / Matlab; Vector and Wintax tools) are considered as a plus.

We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
