IT Infrastructure and Security Intern (4th year)

Our role in HP is to support HP labs developing new products, as well as HP factories and manufacturing partners worldwide. 

We support more than 1500 servers world-wide utilizing Windows, Linux, Cloud native tools, Virtualization, and many others.

We focus on technical issues which occur during manufacturing process on factory floor or in lab environment.

Besides reactive support we monitor our systems proactively, to make sure production critical operations in the factory are running 24/7.

Your Role Will Be:

• Install & Configure servers and applications, including cloud native, file servers, SQL servers, hypervisors, Docker & Kubernetes clusters and others

• Maintain all applications and platforms per HP cyber security rules.

• Work on meaningful improvement project where you will learn SQL, PowerShell, C#, Python and many others, by utilizing them to create something useful

• Acknowledge requests from World-Wide HP factories, partners and R&D labs

• Manage issues; follow up as necessary until closure

Also, do you have…?

• Passion about technology and innovation

• Current student in IT related / engineering field

• Creativity, proactivity, and inter-personal abilities

• Basic administrative knowledge of MS Windows/Linux/Hypervisors

• Basic network knowledge (TCP/IP, DHCP, etc.)

• Experience with SQL & non-SQL DBs is a plus

• Experience with Docker & Kubernetes is a plus

• Experience with any programming language is a plus

• Experience with software or server support is a plus
