About Our Opportunity
We are seeking a Sales & Marketing Intern to work in our Canada office in Toronto, ON. This position is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support across all areas of the Sales & Marketing Department.
Responsibilities
- Submit quotes/Set up new products within Canadian Tire Platforms (Vendor Gateway/PDX
- Order/Prepare and ship new item samples to customers including Canadian Tire, Loblaws, Bulk Barn, Red Apple and Northwest
- Track Canadian Tire orders from point of receipt to shipping
- Run Monthly sales reports using excel and Pivot Tables
- Proof-read everyday and seasonal catalogue draft for accuracy
- Prepare and send monthly POS Updates to Value Channel Chains
- Maintain and Merchandise Showroom space and organize samples
- Prepare New Item Quote Sheets as specified and required by customers.
- Support National Accounts Manager for National Accounts; Canadian Tire, Loblaws, Bulk Barn, Red Apple and Northwest.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of use and operation of standard office equipment and office administrative procedures.
- Must have strong computer skills including proficiency in Word and Excel Knowledge of Photoshop and Microsoft PowerPoint is a plus.
- Detail and Goal-Oriented with strong Time Management skills.
- Excellent follow-up and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Post-secondary education and/or a degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience and/or training required.
- Any equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
