Location: Sofia, Bulgaria (office attendance 3 times a week is mandatory)

What you’ll do 

 

The Cloud Database Operations team manages SAP HANA, ASE and PostgreSQL databases, focusing on system performance, monitoring, and continuous improvement. The team works closely with development units following DevOps principles, handling incidents and change management while ensuring compliance and operational stability. 

 

In this role, you will: 

 

Support and optimize SAP database systems 

Monitor performance and ensure system reliability 

Participating in incident and problem management 

Collaborate with global teams to deliver high-quality operations 

 

You will work in an expert team environment, contributing to efficient and secure cloud operations.   

 

What You’ll bring

  • Education: Bachelors or Masters in a related field. 
  • Basic understanding of cloud computing, databases, or operating systems (e.g., Linux) 
  • Interest in cloud operations, DevOps, and enterprise technologies  
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, international environment 
  • Good communication skills in English (written and spoken) 
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and take initiative

GCID Technology and Innovation Cloud Operations (TICO) is responsible for monitoring SAP cloud services, incorporating these into the overall SAP tool and process framework. The team continuously drives cloud product and operations process improvements and ownership, including reporting and monitoring to steer defined KPIs. 

 

Your team is responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, and stability of SAP’s cloud-based database systems. Working in a collaborative, DevOps-driven environment, you will engage closely with development teams and support end-to-end operations, including monitoring, incident management, and service optimization. 

 

This is a dynamic and international environment where innovation, teamwork, and continuous learning are key, giving you the opportunity to grow your technical expertise while contributing to reliable and scalable enterprise solutions.
