Software Engineering Intern

What You’ll Do (Your Learning Opportunities)

As a Software Engineering Intern, you will gain real-world exposure to IT systems and support work. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working on incident tickets by updating status and tracking progress using a Service Management tool

  • Learning how to analyze and troubleshoot basic technical or system-related issues

  • Assisting with simple system enhancements and report requests

  • Supporting testing activities for system changes, including:

    • Creating basic test cases

    • Preparing test data

    • Checking and documenting test results

  • Helping to prepare step-by-step instructions for deploying changes into the production environment

  • Compiling weekly or monthly summaries of incident tickets and service requests

  • Supporting other tasks or projects assigned by the team or account manager

Who Can Apply

  • Diploma or Degree students

  • Undergraduates currently enrolled in a Diploma or Degree program at a college or university

  • Students studying Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields

Skills Required

  • Basic knowledge or hands-on experience in Java, .NET, or UI/UX (preferred).

  • Basic knowledge or hands-on experience in HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery.

  • Knowledge of React, Node.js, Next.js, and Bootstrap is an added advantage.

  • Experience with any CMS platform is an added advantage.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

  • Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.

  • Willingness to learn, manage multiple tasks, and take initiative.

  • Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.

  • Friendly attitude with good interpersonal skills.
