About the Role

Job Description:

About the division:
Risk Management is responsible for managing and controlling the risk profile of the bank. The profession path covers financial and non-financial risks.

About the role:
This position reports to COO in DB's Chief Risk Office (CRO) division. The CRO division within DB is committed to safeguarding the bank’s resilience by cultivating analytical discipline, sound judgment, and integrated and proactive risk awareness.

Key responsibilities:

  • Understand variety of risk frameworks and cross-risk types and contribute to high‑quality analysis
  • Support effective decision‑making in a dynamic control environment as well streamlining various risk processes via AI/automation.


Key skills:

  • Foundational analytical skills, including comfort working with quantitative data, identifying risk indicators, and interpreting basic financial or operational risk information.
  • Good communication skills, particularly in dealing with technical concepts, summarising findings, documenting analysis
  • Technically savvy, ability to learn and work across dashboards, data platforms or analytics tools used for monitoring exposures, controls, and emerging risks.
  • Curiosity to learn about core risk principles, including how risks are identified, assessed, escalated, and mitigated across a financial institution
  • Fresh graduates who have graduated in 2024/2025/2026 from Universities, Polytechnics, Institutes of Technical Education (ITE), or other Educational Institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2024/2025/2026.
  • No prior work experience and should be able to commit to a full time traineeship
