About the Role

Are you an innovative and driven Software Engineering student looking to gain meaningful industry experience in a high-technology environment? HENSOLDT South Africa invites aspiring engineers to apply for our Vacation Work Programme, offering practical exposure to real-world engineering projects within the defence and technology sector.

As part of our engineering team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to cutting-edge technology solutions, and gain insight into the development of advanced electronic systems and products.

 

The Vacation Work Programme is designed to provide students with practical exposure to key areas within Software Engineering. Students will work within multidisciplinary engineering teams, supporting real projects while gaining valuable experience in industry tools, technologies, engineering processes, and best practices.

 

Requirements:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Software Engineering

• 3rd or 4th year academic standing
• Strong academic performance and a demonstrated interest in engineering and technology

How to apply: 

Please note that vacation work opportunities are limited and will be for a minimum duration of 2 (two) weeks and maximum duration of 4 (four) weeks during the upcoming June/July recess.
