Het Quality Control - Microbiology & Pharmacology laboratorium is verantwoordelijk voor de microbiologische veiligheid, pharmacological potency en biologische kwaliteit van de farmaceutische en biotechnologische producten die binnen onze site in Oss worden geproduceerd. Het gehele laboratorium bestaat uit +/- 50 analisten, verdeeld over vijf teams, ieder met een eigen specialisatie. Tijdens deze stage binnen een van onze teams zul je uitgebreid ervaring opdoen met het werken onder strenge GMP-condities (Good Manufacturing Practices). Je leert werken met verschillende microbiologische methodes om analyses uit te voeren op grondstofen, deel- of eind-producten en monsters genomen tijdens routine-monitoring van de (productie-) omgeving. Ook leer je samenwerken met collega’s uit verschillende teams, zowel binnen als buiten het

laboratorium.

De functie

Tijdens je stage binnen het microbiologieteam krijg je de kans om jezelf te ontwikkelen in diverse klassieke microbiologische technieken. Je leert bijvoorbeeld onder andere hoe je samples inzet met behulp van de membraanfiltratiemethode en hoe je platen interpreteert die voortkomen uit de environmental monitoring van de volledige Organon-site. In de tweede helft van je stage ga je aan de slag met een klein project dat aansluit bij deze technieken, waarmee je jouw kennis verder verdiept en uitbreidt.

Verantwoordelijkheden

Als stagiaire ben je verantwoordelijk voor:

- Leren werken met Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

- Getraind worden in verschillende (microbiologische) analyse methodes

- Meedraaien in de dagelijkse routine van analyses

- Bijdragen aan algemene orde en netheid binnen het QC-M&P laboratorium

- Onderdeel zijn van een gezellig team
