Your mission

The future of AI computing is light, not electrons. Q.ANT is building photonic processing systems that compute with light – delivering a scalable, energy-efficient alternative to transistor-based architectures for next-generation AI and HPC applications.

To turn our vision into reality, we are seeking a Working Student Operations (m/f/d) to join our team. In this versatile role, you will act as a dynamic support pillar across our Operations Unit, balancing administrative precision with hands-on technical support. Reporting directly to the Operations Leadership, you will be the "go-to" person for solving day-to-day action items, ensuring our key players can focus on high-level performance while you drive essential operational tasks to success.


Your Responsibilities


  • Operational Execution: Take full ownership of assigned tasks across various groups, driving them from initiation to completion with high reliability.

  • Supply Chain Management: Support SCM through meticulous documentation and the organization of supplier-related activities.

  • Technical Assembly Support: Assist in assembly processes and maintain rigorous Technical Documentation standards to ensure production quality.

  • PIC & Quality Assistance: Support task coordination within the Photonic Integrated Circuits (PIC) group and assist the Quality department with audits and compliance documentation.

  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as a liaison between different operational groups to streamline communication and improve inter-departmental workflows.

  • Performance Optimization: Contribute to KPI improvements by reducing stakeholder workload and  process bottlenecks.


Your profile

  • Educational Background: Currently enrolled student in a Technical or Business-related field with a strong interest in high-tech operations.

  • Mindset: Proactive, detail-oriented "hands-on" mentality with the ability to dive into complex new topics.

  • Methodological Skills: Familiarity with standard operational methods and tools, combined with a solution-oriented approach.

  • Self-Leadership: Highly organized with the ability to manage workloads effectively and work independently.

  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.

  • Languages: Proficiency in German and English is required for our international and local operations.
