Brown & Brown is seeking a Sales Intern to join our growing team in Carpinteria, CA

This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the insurance industry while supporting the sales team in driving growth and expanding our client base. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, an interest in the insurance market, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

How You Will Contribute

  • Assist in each department with data entries and clerical duties.

  • Learn insurance terms and practices.

  • Apply and develop organizational skills by prioritizing multiple projects.

  • Provide customer service support.

  • CRM management.

  • Other duties may apply as needed.

Skills & Experience to Be Successful

  • Business, Economic, and Marketing Majors

  • Future Sales and Broker talent

  • Sharp and proficient skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, as well as Outlook

  • Academic Excellence – need at least a 3.0 or higher.

  • Great oral and written communication skills

  • Ambition to succeed in this highly competitive industry.

Pay Range

$17 - $17 Hourly

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
