About the Role

At NVIDIA’s Advanced Research Group, we are developing, designing, and characterizing comb lasers to make this technology a reality. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research with real impact on the future of AI infrastructure and data-center interconnects.

The Intern will be researching and supporting the team in developing new methods for distributed quantum computing and quantum interconnect for high performance computing. Areas of research will include first principles quantum computing, mapping out hardware architectures, reviewing quantum algorithms and synthesizing this information.    

  

What you will be doing:

  • Develop method of distributed quantum computing

  • Characterize quantum interconnect concepts

  • Topological Optics

What we need to see:

  • Students at the beginning of their M.Sc./PhD in Electrical Engineering or Physics related fields

  • Creativity in finding solutions to tough problems

  • Interest to work in lab environment
