This is an excellent opportunity for a student interested in business, real estate, energy, renewables, or legal administration to gain hands-on professional experience in a fast-paced industry environment. The Land Team manages closings, land acquisition, title research, and asset management for real estate properties. As an intern, you will provide essential clerical support that helps keep critical land records organized and accessible. Key Responsibilities Perform data entry and updates into land management databases and spreadsheets (e.g., lease information, ownership details, payment records) Organize, scan, and file physical and digital land documents, contracts, titles, and correspondence Assist with preparing, sorting, and distributing reports and mailings Help maintain accurate filing systems for active and archived land records Support team members with basic research tasks (e.g., pulling maps, ownership reports, or public records) Run errands within the office (copying, printing, binding documents) Attend team meetings and take notes when requested Perform other administrative and clerical duties as assigned What You’ll Gain Real-world exposure to the land and real estate side of the oil & gas / energy industry Valuable office and administrative experience Understanding of document control, data management, and professional office protocols Mentorship from experienced land professionals Opportunity to build a professional network and resume This internship is ideal for a dependable, eager-to-learn student who takes pride in accuracy and supporting a team.QualificationsQualifications Currently enrolled as a high school student (rising junior or senior preferred) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Reliable, professional, and able to maintain confidentiality with sensitive land and legal documents Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Interest in business, real estate, energy, or law is a plus Must have reliable transportation to the office
