$17.00 Per Hour


Position Description: Fleet Intern


This position will assist the Warehouse and Fleet team and play a vital role in supporting the fleet licensing process, and re-titling vehicles as needed. Additionally, this role will support our Fleet Coordinator in creating state-wide fleet accounts, including researching steps, registering vehicles, and deploying registrations to the correct locations. This will be a part time role. 


Essential Job Duties:

  • Assist the fleet team in setting up state-specific fleet accounts, coordinating submissions, and ensuring license plates are delivered to the correct field locations.
  • Improve data organization by helping transfer, clean up, and properly link historical files to the correct vehicles.
  • Support the tracking and uploading of companywide maintenance spend into Fleet software.
  • Quickly learn and adapt to new fleet management software systems.
  • Communicate effectively & professionally (written and verbal) with people both inside and outside the company.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to effectively communicate on the phone and through email/text in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Computer skills including the ability to learn new software and systems.   
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail will be key to success in this role.  
  • Favorable drug test and acceptable background and driving record are also required.
  • This role is onsite in Fridley, MN.  

Preferred Requirements:

  • Previous experience with data heavy projects.
  • Strong proficiency with Excel.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Communicates through telephone conversations, email, text and face-to-face interactions.
  • The ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
  • This is a physical position with extensive movement, including, but not limited to bending, stooping, twisting, kneeling, and reaching overhead.
  • Read printed materials and a computer screen.
  • The ability to perform tasks that require hand-eye coordination.
