About the Role

Data Analyst Intern

Position Summary:

Assists the Business Development Specialist and Business Systems Analyst in collecting, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting data. The successful candidate will possess an eye for detail and have a teamwork mindset working with colleagues across departments.

Job Status:

  • Part-Time 
  • Hourly
  • Temporary (3-6 months)

Job Duties (includes, but is not limited to the following)

  • Collect data regarding operations
  • Organize, analyze, and interpret trends with operational data
  • Coordinate with production supervisors when analyzing data
  • Present standard data sets and information in an understandable and compelling manner
  • Assist with development of financial models.
  • Maintain Labor Cost spreadsheet and update other Excel reports and tables as needed
  • Assist Business Systems Analyst with various projects and tasks

Essential Qualifications:

  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities and work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs with emphasis in Excel
  • Follows written and verbal instructions
  • Communicates effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to create and maintain accurate spreadsheets, reports, and files with accuracy
  • Ability to review and check submitted work of others to ensure accuracy
  • Possesses a strong understanding of basic math skills
  • Possesses a general understanding of accounting principles
  • Ability to function as part of a team to accomplish the goals of the department
  • Must follow all safety requirements of working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Bilingual a plus, but not required.
