About the Role
 
 

Goodwyn Mills Cawood (GMC) is one of the largest privately-held architecture and engineering firms in the Southeast.

GMC has an opening for an Engineering Co-Op to support on-going projects in the Auburn, AL office. This position will be expected to work closely with Engineers across our footprint on projects. 

Essential functions and responsibilities include:

  • Collecting, preparing, and assessing data for use in evaluations, studies, design development, and construction administration
  • Supporting the development and completion of design drawings and specifications
  • Assisting in management of projects under construction
  • Providing support to GMC Engineers as needed

 Minimum Qualifications:

  • Pursing Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET accredited university
  • Working knowledge with AutoCAD (REVIT a plus)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with LEED Certified Projects and passion for Sustainability (LEED Accredited) is a plus 

Travel requirements:

  • 20-30%
