About the Role

Job Description Summary

Do you want the opportunity to gain real-world experience in risk modeling through an internship program? As a Risk Modeling Analyst Intern at GE Vernova, you will have the chance to work in an international environment, support different risk and financial functions, and explore which area best fits your interests while contributing to key business projects and challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive technical training, mentorship, and coaching from an experienced team
  • Expand your knowledge of Multi-Year Agreement policies, modeling procedures, and business forecasting standards
  • Review, update, and analyze complex financial and operational models for multi-year service agreements signed between the Gas Power business unit and customers
  • Partner with Operations and Finance teams to review financial performance against budget and update projections for each contract
  • Support and implement simplification initiatives to accelerate contract analysis and reduce low-value activities in the contract review process

Candidate Profile

  • Strong analytical skills
  • A background in Finance, Data Science and Analytics Engineering, or related fields
  • Academic or personal projects that demonstrate analytical ability
  • Good time management and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong organization skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Knowledge of pivot tables
  • Ability to work with autonomy
  • Good communication skills
  • Curiosity
  • A proactive mindset

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • Data review, understanding, and reconciliation
  • Processing and analyzing information
  • Working cross-functionally with different teams
  • Synthesizing results and presenting findings clearly
  • Exposure to processing and lean manufacturing

Additional Requirements

  • At least one year remaining before graduation
  • Availability to work in a hybrid model
  • Availability for a full-time internship, with flexibility according to school schedule
