The Role and Impact Join Intel Edge Platform SW team as a System Software Engineering Intern and immerse yourself in the design, development, and validation of system software across multiple layers of the software stack- operating systems, middleware, AI inference backend. In this role, you will contribute to enabling Intel platforms and technologies while gaining hands-on experience with cross-stack software optimization and reference platform development. Key Responsibilities - Support the design and development of system software, including debugging and validation, to enable Intel platforms and technologies. - Collaborate with teams to optimize software across various layers of the stack, from firmware to operating systems and middleware. - Contribute to the development of reference platforms for specific domains and market segments. - Apply industry-standard problem-solving techniques to address technical challenges and improve software performance. - Participate in the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, coding, testing, and validation. - Explore innovative solutions through prototyping and proof-of-concept designs.

Qualifications:
