More about the role

As a summer intern development engineer, you’ll be responsible for Guarantee the end-to-end quality in new product development, solve difficult technical issue, do failure analysis and predict the lifetime of Lighting electronic products or service.

You’ll be part of >R&D team in Lighting electronic.

What you’ll do

  • Specialized in one or more technical competences and need to develop our offerings till release in the market
  • Responsible for the design, development, testing and documenting of a system, subsystem, or a component as part of an overall architecture
  • Work with an outside-in view in order to understand and fulfil customer and market requirements as well as competitive alternatives
  • Design, realizes, tests a (sub-) system or components based on design requirements and produces specs for the product and propositions.
  • Develop materials and techniques & prepares design releases
  • Update and maintain development reports.

Your qualifications

  • Experience in the discipline / domain in an international context with evidence of contributions which lead to proven business success
  • Recognition for active contributions to the specialist community through mentoring, publications, teaching, external and internal collaboration, participation in professional organizations.
  • Experience cooperating in multi-disciplinary teams to develop integral I2M offers
  • Proven track record in managing teams and coaching development engineers
  • High level knowledge of technology and application trends in the domain and industry
  • Shows structural training or proven self-study in domain and related areas
  • Shares this knowhow to the rest of the organization
  • Generates initiatives leading to new/improved propositions
