About the Role

Job Title: Co‑op – Material Handler
Division: NCC Automated Systems (An ATS Company)
Location: Souderton, PA
Department: Supply Chain
Reports To: Supply Chain Manager 
Classification: Temporary / Co‑op


Position Summary

The Co‑op Material Handler supports warehouse and production operations by assisting with material handling, inventory control, and internal logistics. This role provides hands-on experience in a fast-paced, project-driven manufacturing environment while supporting cross-functional teams to ensure timely material availability.


Health & Safety

  • Follow all Company Safety Policies and Procedures and customer requirements.
  • Report safety concerns, violations, or hazards immediately.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and applicable regulatory standards

Key Responsibilities

  • Pull, stage, and deliver materials to production per job schedules and priorities.
  • Support production teams by ensuring timely availability of components.
  • Record inventory transactions including material pulls, returns, and adjustments in ERP systems.
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory accuracy initiatives.
  • Maintain organized stockroom and warehouse layout to support efficient material flow
  • Communicate material shortages or inventory risks to internal teams
  • Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Planning, and Engineering teams.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within warehouse and material handling processes.
  • Assist with annual physical inventory activities.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a college/university program (Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, lift, and move materials (up to 50 lbs)
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse/manufacturing setting
  • Ability to wear required PPE and operate material handling equipment (training provided)
