Recruitment Apprentice (Sizewell C)

Job Responsibilities 


- Support the end-to-end recruitment process for driver roles, from application through to onboarding.
- Assist with creating and posting job adverts across recruitment platforms and social media channels.
- Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment journey, providing a professional and positive experience.
- Coordinate interviews, assessments, and onboarding activities.
- Support recruitment events, job fairs, and driver assessment days.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment documentation.
- Assist with arranging medical appointments and completing Right to Work Checks.
- Learn compliance processes required for working on high-security and regulated sites.
- Provide excellent customer service to candidates, managers, and colleagues.
- Support general recruitment administration tasks.
- Build strong working relationships with internal and external teams.
- Ensure all recruitment activities are completed professionally and in line with company procedures.


Qualifications 


Essential


GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Full UK Driving Licence
Interest in recruitment or people-focused roles


Desirable


Previous customer service or administrative experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages

You should have:

- Confidence working both independently and as part of a team
- A willingness to learn new systems and processes
- Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- A proactive attitude and strong work ethic
- An interest in recruitment


You'll gain first-hand experience within a fast-paced, high-volume recruitment environment, helping attract, support, and onboard drivers who play a vital role in keeping this major project moving.


With full training, mentoring, and ongoing support, you'll develop the skills, confidence, and experience needed to build a successful long-term career in recruitment whilst gaining a recognised recruitment qualification.
