Job Summary


Zip Corvette is seeking a motivated and dependable Business Operations Intern to support multiple areas of the business, including showroom sales, warehouse operations, inventory support, accounting assistance, customer service support, and website search optimization.


This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience across several key business functions within Zip Corvette. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, willing to take direction, and comfortable helping wherever business needs are greatest.

This role is a great opportunity for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience and learning how different areas of a business work together, including sales, ecommerce, inventory, accounting, and customer support.


Essential Functions


Showroom & Sales Support

  • Assist with showroom operations and customer service.
  • Train on the point-of-sale system.
  • Help support walk-in customers and showroom transactions.
  • Learn basic product lookup, order entry, and sales support processes.


Warehouse & Inventory Support

  • Assist the warehouse team with consolidation-related tasks.
  • Help verify inventory quantities and product locations.
  • Support inventory clean-up, counting, and organization projects.
  • Assist with basic receiving, stocking, or product movement as needed.


Customer Service & Refund Support

  • Assist the customer service team with refund-related tasks as appropriate.
  • Help organize and review customer order information.
  • Support follow-up on basic customer service or order issues under supervision.


Accounting & Administrative Support

  • Assist the accounting team with entry-level administrative tasks.
  • Help organize documents, invoices, refund records, or transaction details.
  • Support basic reporting, filing, or reconciliation-related work as assigned.


Website & Ecommerce Support

  • Assist with website search optimization.
  • Help review search terms, product search results, and product data accuracy.
  • Support improvements that make it easier for customers to find products online.
  • Help identify search issues, missing product terms, or areas where website search results can be improved.

Requirements

 Qualifications

  • Strong willingness to learn and take direction.
  • Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Comfortable working across multiple departments.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Interest in business operations, sales, ecommerce, inventory, accounting, is a plus.
  • Prior experience is not required; training will be provided.


Preferred Skills

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Comfort learning new systems such as POS, inventory, ecommerce, or accounting tools.
  • Ability to follow processes and ask questions when needed.

Working Conditions

  • The position is required to be onsite, based in the Mechanicsville VA facility. 
  • This position is scheduled to operate during business hours. Typical hours will be Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm with occasional off hours duties as needed.
  • This job operates in both a professional office and warehouse/shop environment. 
  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment as well as warehouse equipment.
