About the Role

Description


Position Type: Non-Exempt  

Reporting To: General Manager  

Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour  

Internship Period: June 1st- Aug 20th 


We are seeking a highly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented Summer Intern to support daily operations, reporting, administrative coordination, and employee engagement initiatives. This internship provides hands-on experience working with leadership and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced business environment. 

Requirements


  • Provide general administrative and operational support to the General Manager and Headquarters team as needed 
  • Coordinate calendars, scheduling, and internal meetings  
  • Prepare weekly KPI and performance summaries for Charter, Freight, and Reservations departments  
  • Maintain meeting action-item trackers and ensure follow-up on outstanding tasks  
  • Assist with operational analysis projects including booking trends, freight shipping trends, and repeat client reporting  
  • Support monthly freight billing and related administrative processes  
  • Assist with employee engagement activities and Engagement Committee events  
  • Support company culture initiatives including Employee Spotlight programs and Paylocity engagement activities  
  • Help organize and maintain administrative systems including scanning projects, calendar clean-up, and file management  
  • Create, update, and maintain internal email templates and communication materials  

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills  
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook  
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking  
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
