Your Key Responsibilities

  • Rotate in departments related to the trade to complete 8000 on-the-job training hours and successfully complete related classroom instruction specific to the trade
  • Work closely with a Journeyperson in maintaining production stamping tooling in a timely and efficient manner and developing prototype/production stamping dies
  • Work closely with a Journeyperson in programming, set-up and running CNC equipment in a tool room environment
  • Requires a highly motivated individual who is willing to learn and apply acquired skills

Your Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Mechanical aptitude and knowledge
  • Hands-on learner
  • Blueprint reading
  • CNC machining
  • Accuracy in measurement
  • Metal cutting practices
  • Math
  • Enthusiastic about their career in skilled trades
  • Excellent communication ability (written & verbal)
  • Positive work ethic
  • Problem solving skills
