About the Role

SkillBridge Liaison Officer 

Work Location: Leavenworth, KS

Schedule:  Full Time

This is a SkillBridge position.

IronMountain Solutions is looking for a Liaison Officer at Leavenworth, KS supporting the Aviation Mission Systems & Architecture (AMSA) Project Manager and the Airspace Control Proponency Office (ACPO). The candidate will provide expertise and understanding of Transformation in Contact (TiC), Fight Tonight, and Next Generation Command and Control (NGC2) efforts related to Capability Portfolio Executive Aviation (CPE AVN), CPE Command and Control Information Network (C2IN), PM AMSA, PM Command and Control Applications (PM C2 Apps), Aviation Center of Excellence, and Mission Command Center of Excellence Air to Ground and Mission Command Information Systems development and employment to the force. Duties includes: Review updated Airspace Doctrine ; Review upcoming CNS documents in support of the new Army Systems supporting NGC2; Assist in the airspace design OPT with experience from Corps Airspace experience; Assist with emerging system integration; Support DOTMLPF-P solutions through support to OPTs with review of the Army and Air Force TACS/AAGS process.

    Required Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of Army Mission Command Information Systems deployment and operations
  • Intimate knowledge of the Army’s TiC, Fight Tonight, and NGC2 modernization efforts
  • Extensive knowledge of Army operations
  • Extensive knowledge of Army Aviation operations including airspace management and mission planning
  • Complex problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Develop and maintain requirements traceability matrices.
  • Experience in work statement preparation (e.g., Statement of work [SOW], Performance Work Statements [PWS], Technical Directives or Task Description [TD])

Preferred Skills: 

  • Experience working in an Acquisition Project Office
  • Experience supporting an Army Center of Excellence office                                       
  • Understanding of the Army’s DOTMLPF-P process.
  • Understanding of Joint Air Tasking Cycle and Army’s Responsibilities
  • Understanding of Joint C2 Systems as it relates to the integration of Joint Fires
  • Development and maintenance of an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
  • Develop, write, and staff briefings to diverse groups.
  • Strong Risk Management experience 

Desired Skills: 

  • In-depth understanding of mission command operations
  • Understanding of large-scale combat operations doctrine and concepts
  • Understanding of Army Design Methodology
  • Understanding of Military Decision-Making Process 

Required Education, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree with 14+ years of related experience is required.
  • Strong organization and record keeping skills.
  • Ability to successfully comprehend and adhere to technical and operational standards/processes.
  • Must be able to effectively interact with Government customers and contractors. 

Clearance Requirements: Current Secret clearance or ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Inability to obtain a final security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for this position.
