About the Role

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:

The Sales/Customer Service Intern will work closely with the Sales and Client Experience teams to support day-to-day activities that contribute to Morgan Li’s commitment to delivering exceptional service and customized solutions to our customers. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to engage with real-world client interactions, assist in quoting and order processes, and gain exposure to the full customer journey from inquiry to delivery.
 
 The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter eager to learn about sales operations, customer communication, and relationship management within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The intern will collaborate with Account Managers, Project Managers, and cross-functional teams to support ongoing projects and enhance the customer experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the Sales team in preparing quotes, presentations, and client communications.

• Support the Customer Service team by responding to client inquiries and coordinating follow-up actions.

• Participate in sales meetings and take notes or summarize client updates.

• Help maintain CRM and order tracking systems with accurate and timely information.

• Conduct research on prospective clients, market trends, and competitor activity.

• Coordinate sample or literature mailings and support trade show or marketing preparation as needed.

• Provide administrative support such as scheduling, filing, and updating internal documents.

• Other duties, as assigned.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Prefer previous experience with customer service, sales, or client facing interactions.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

REASONING ABILITY:

• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational and time-management capabilities.

• Enthusiastic attitude and eagerness to learn in a collaborative team environment.

• Able to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

• Demonstrated ability to think critically and solve problems.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

• English required
 • Spanish is a plus

EDUCATION:

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
