Project Title:
Electrical Circuit Analysis and Diagnostic Techniques in Manufacturing Equipment

Project Description:
This internship project focuses on developing an understanding of electrical circuit board diagnostics within manufacturing equipment. The intern will explore circuit design concepts, component functionality, and diagnostic approaches through structured learning and guided exposure.

The project will provide opportunities to gain insight into how electrical systems are analysed in a manufacturing environment, while building foundational knowledge in electronics, circuit behaviour, and equipment maintenance practices.

Objective of the project:
To develop a structured understanding of circuit board diagnostics and electrical system behaviour through guided observation and analysis.

Project Scope:

  • Gain understanding of electrical circuit board structure, components, and functionality
  • Learn basic diagnostic approaches used in identifying circuit behaviour and fault conditions
  • Observe equipment and tools used for circuit analysis and testing through guided sessions
  • Review documentation related to electronic components and procurement processes
  • Document observations and learning outcomes related to circuit diagnostics and system behaviour

Learning Opportunities:
The intern will gain exposure to electrical engineering fundamentals, circuit analysis techniques, and structured problem solving in a manufacturing environment. The project also provides opportunities to understand how equipment teams evaluate and diagnose electrical systems.

Deliverables:

  • Documented observations on circuit board structures and diagnostic approaches
  • Summary of learning related to component behaviour and analysis methods
  • Basic documentation outlining diagnostic workflow understanding
  • Final presentation summarising key learning outcomes

Impact of Project:

  • Improved understanding of electrical system diagnostics in manufacturing equipment
  • Enhanced visibility of circuit behaviour and analysis approaches to inform engineering discussions

Skillsets Required:

  • Basic understanding of electrical or electronic concepts
  • Interest in circuit boards and system behaviour
  • Ability to document and communicate observations clearly
  • Willingness to learn and explore technical concepts

Courses of Interest:
The ideal candidate should be currently pursuing in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or related disciplines

Duration Period
Minimum 5 months (Full-time semester internship from Sep to Feb 2026)
