About the Role

Background

The Lunder CareForce Institute, a sub-brand of Hebrew SeniorLife, is seeking a content creator/social media manager for its Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok channels. They are seeking an outside contractor or per diem employee to work alongside the Lunder CareForce leadership team to manage their five social media accounts.

The contractor/employee will be responsible for writing, designing, and posting content, getting required approval from Lunder CareForce leaders (and/or Hebrew SeniorLife marketing & communications staff), and going on-site at Hebrew Rehabilitation Center - Boston as needed to take photos, interview staff and students for spotlight posts, and capture and edit video content. They will stay up to date on the latest social media trends to create content that resonates with our prospective nursing student audience. The contractor/employee will also be responsible for tracking performance across all channels and reporting performance metrics back to Lunder CareForce leaders. 

Scope of Services

  • Management of Lunder CareForce’s Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok accounts.
    • Management includes writing and designing posts, using pre-existing graphic templates, submitting posts in a timely manner to Lunder CareForce leaders for review, responding to any comments/questions on posts, and keeping tabs on direct messages (sending them to the Lunder CareForce team if needed).
  • On-site visits to Hebrew Rehabilitation Center - Boston, as needed, to capture and edit photo and video content.
  • Attend regular meetings with Lunder CareForce staff to plan content and discuss goals and strategies.
  • Ensure all content adheres to the Hebrew SeniorLife brand guidelines and to the Lunder CareForce subsection of those guidelines.
  • Content will be a mix of one-off posts (i.e., the first anniversary open house) and recurring post categories, which include (but are not limited to):
    • Meet the Team
    • Student Spotlight
    • Study Question of the Day
    • Health Care Careers Resume Tip
      • For the study questions and health care resume tips, the Lunder CareForce team would send the information, which would need to be tailored for social media
  • Incorporate recent social media trends into social media posts where applicable.
